Merryn and Haj set the bar high for 2016 with their unique cultural celebration. The day was rich in colour, texture and ornament traditional to a Sikh wedding. There were several firsts for me, including the groom Haj’s arrival on horseback and then his hair and beard trim halfway through the day. Merryn was resplendent in red and gold, with her arms adorned in intricate henna.
