Welcome
I’m Joseph Sarkodie, a father and a creative, with two young children of my own. I know how quickly time disappears – and how important it is to capture the journey as it unfolds.
My family sessions are relaxed, flexible, and centred on real connection. Pets are always welcome, and sessions can include different family combinations – parents, children, grandparents, couples, or just the kids. There’s no single version of “family”, and your session should reflect yours honestly.

Confirmation
Once you’ve chosen your package and preferred date, your session is secured with a $200 deposit.

Location
You’ll receive an email with a curated selection of location options, to make choosing easy and stress-free.

Session day
This is where the magic happens. A relaxed, guided hour on location, focused on connection rather than posing.

Delivery day
Your online gallery will arrive within 7 days of your session.
You’ll receive 50–100 fully edited images, available to download and share.
What’s included in a family session?
Family sessions are offered either at sunset or early morning, when the light is at its most flattering. Each session includes:
Approximately 1 hour of photography
A relaxed, natural approach with gentle direction
50+ fully retouched digital images
Online gallery for easy viewing, downloading, and sharing
No upsells or image limits – your full gallery is included

What to wear
Simple, comfortable clothing photographs best. A few general guidelines:
Stick to neutral or earthy tones (cream, beige, soft blues, muted greens)
Avoid large logos, text, or bold patterns
Coordinate rather than match – aim for a cohesive palette
Layers and textures photograph beautifully
Most importantly, wear something you can move and play in comfortably

I’ve carefully curated a collection of beautiful outdoor locations stretching from Sydney to the Central Coast, making sessions convenient for families anywhere along the coast.

I’m always looking for locations that offer golden sunsets, beautiful light, and easy access for families with little ones – because a magical setting should also be practical and stress-free.
