I’ve photographed over 30 weddings at Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat, and it remains the most complete wedding venue I’ve worked at. My history with the venue goes back well before its rebirth after the 2019 bushfires. The land still carries visible scars, and seeing the retreat rebuild and return stronger than ever has been genuinely moving. What exists now feels considered, refined, and deeply connected to its surroundings.
