Destination wedding in Frigiliana, Spain
Sarah and Chris are the kind of couple who draw people in effortlessly – warm, grounded, and deeply connected. We met through a photography course in Sydney, where Sarah and I became friends, which made it especially meaningful to document such an important chapter of their lives.
Their four-day wedding unfolded in the whitewashed hill town of Frigiliana in southern Spain, high above the Mediterranean coast. Guests gathered from around the world for long communal meals, sun-drenched afternoons, and evenings that drifted through winding cobblestone streets.
Weddings like this remind me why I do this work. Capturing Sarah and Chris’ four-day celebration in Frigiliana was a privilege, and the resulting album was honoured with the AIPP NSW Album of the Year award.
